Kellie Martin is an American TV, film as well as stage actor. Her most well-known role is Christy Huddleston (Christy) in the period drama Christy'; Rebecca Thatcher (Life Goes On) in Life Goes On; and Lucy Knight ("ER") in the medical drama ER". Also, Kellie is well-known for her role as the lead in the Hailey Dean Mystery. Martin, born to a department store purchaser and kindergarten teacher started her career as an actress at age seven, when her aunt who worked as the nanny of Michael Landon's kids assisted Martin to get her a character in the 1983's show "Father Murphy". When she completed her studies at Yale University in 1982, Martin began to take her acting profession more serious. Her roles were significant in television and on the big screen. Martin is a professional actor in addition to a gifted dancer and photographer, has been in the business for the past 20 years. Martin is also a mother of two and the official spokesperson for Lupus. Following her 19 year old sister's passing Martin has been working to educate people about the condition.
